Our
Values
Integrity
We begin every engagement with the same questions -
“What is the right thing to do?”
“Do we have the knowledge, skills and expertise to do this?”
“Are we the best fit for this client? or would they be better served by a larger firm, or smaller firm?”
I believe in doing the right work — not all the work.
Intelligence
We want to provide solutions that are practical and strategic for the client. We are not about the most expensive solution or creating work for ourselves, we are about providing ways to make your life easier. We are looking for real insight, well applied.
Focus
I bring clarity to complexity, helping clients prioritize what matters most and cut through distraction. Whether it’s a disclosure, a model, or a strategic decision, I stay centered on the goal and deliver with intention.
Respect
My clients are entrepreneurs and investors who are building their businesses from an idea, to a product, to a public offering - they are experts on their business, they do not want to become an expert at GAAP accounting, nor should they. I respect the hard work, resilience, and determination that goes into creating your business.
Donna Guy, CPA
Founder
I’m Donna Guy, CPA and founder of Elevation Accounting & Finance, LLC. I bring more than two decades of hands-on accounting and finance experience to clients navigating complex reporting requirements and strategic financial decisions.
I graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting in 1998. I began my career at KPMG. Eventually, I landed at XTO Energy where I worked in SEC Reporting for several years before moving on to smaller independent oil and gas and energy services companies, where I developed deep expertise in upstream operations and the related technical accounting.
Since founding my own firm, I’ve supported clients across a broad range of industries — including consumer products, manufacturing, telecommunications, Bitcoin and digital assets, and energy — offering specialized guidance on SEC reporting, GAAP compliance, debt compliance, and strategic financial modeling.
I’m an active member of the AICPA, the Texas Society of CPAs, and COPAS, and I previously served on the board of The Women’s Center of Tarrant County for six years.
Before entering the world of finance, I proudly served as an airman in the U.S. Air Force from 1991 to 1995, where I gained the discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to service that continue to shape my work today.
